Providing electricity and heat for a huge winter wedding
Like all Jewish Orthodox weddings, this one needed to follow strict protocols that can make organization tricky. To make things more complicated, this customer’s event would involve 6000 guests seated in two enormous tents in urban, space-limited Brooklyn. During a snow storm. Maintaining a comfortable, even temperature in these conditions would be no easy task!
Powerful air handlers and a mix of heater types
For the women’s tent, we set up a special events HVAC unit with electric heat, making it easier to control the temperature. For the larger men’s tent, we used indirect heaters to keep down fuel costs for the customer, as well as air handlers to pull in cool, fresh air to the section used for dancing at the wedding.
A perfect (and comfortable) occasion
The snow falling outside may have transformed this into a very white wedding, but inside the tents stayed warm and cosy for the whole event.
Thanks to the custom engineered solution, the result? A very happy wedding party
