Womens Rugby World Cup
2025
The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 set out to deliver an event that was sustainable, inclusive, and impactful – one that would leave a lasting mark both environmentally and socially. Aggreko, as the tournament’s Official Energy Transition Solutions Provider, saw this as an opportunity to pave the way and contribute to the ESG mission of the tournament.
SailGP
2025 Season
Since joining forces, SailGP and Aggreko have made significant progress toward a shared vision for more efficient event operations. In 2025, Aggreko helped SailGP to power all on-shore operations with 100% clean energy. SailGP also reached the milestone of moving away from any fossil fuels, using Hydrotreated Vegetable Oils (HVO) to power its operations.
Aggreko Sustainability Report
2025
In 2025, our focus was on action where it matters most. We continued to lower emissions from our operations, improve the efficiency and carbon intensity of our solutions, and strengthen how we measure, track and govern performance. These steps are about delivering real improvement, not simply setting ambition.
Formula 1
2025
As Formula 1 drives forward with its Net Zero by 2030 goal, the racing series brought on Aggreko to support races by delivering sustainable energy. Aggreko introduced its Event Energy Transition with a centralised energy solution at the 2023 and 2024 Austrian Grand Prix’s. The success of these pilot events has propelled Formula 1 to introduce these systems at all European races, with more to come.
Formula E
Season 10
Formula E and Aggreko are a natural fit. Both organisations share a strong commitment to sustainability with Formula E being the world’s first net zero carbon sport in line with the 2020 definitions. Aggreko has led the way by introducing its Greener Upgrades, helping ensure that Formula E remains as environmentally sustainable as possible.
